Why we started

Built for the golfer in front of us

Most irons are built for a golfer who does not exist: the average one. They come off a production line at a standard length, a standard lie and a tolerance wide enough to keep the line moving.

Blades Golf Repair started because there was nowhere in Dallas to have a set built properly, club by club, by someone who would put every head back on the machine if a number came back wrong. So we built that shop.

How we work

Numbers first, then how it should feel

Every set begins with you hitting balls in front of us. We look at swing speed, attack angle, strike pattern and ball flight, then talk about the part the numbers miss: how you want the club to feel at impact.

From there the specification is written down club by club. The set is assembled by hand, then every club is measured again before it leaves the bench. If a number is off, it goes back on the machine, not into your bag.

Who we build for

The same tolerances, whoever you are

We build for 18 handicaps and for players who make their living with a golf club. The process does not change between them. A golfer who plays twice a month deserves the same tolerances as one who plays every day.

We also look after irons you already own. Lofts and lies move with use, especially on forged heads. Bringing a set in once a season keeps it playing the way it did when you bought it.

What you can expect

01

An honest answer

If your current irons only need a bend and a regrip, we will tell you that instead of selling you a new set.

02

Your numbers in writing

You leave with the full specification, so any shop can work on your clubs later.

03

Time on the bench

A full custom set takes as long as it takes. We give you a realistic date and keep you posted.
